"Sherlock Holmes: a game of shadows"

Well now, it's been a while since I review something in here... this is to get off the edge in other things...So here it goes,

So i watched the movie, it was a continuos curiosity from the first movie of Sherlock Holmes. We were held a bit from the end of part one, but then i felt that i forgot what the actual puzzle was.
so watching "a game of shadows" was a new story, different villain, same devil.
This time i felt i didn't really get the story and the mystery of it, i guess i need to watch it all over again... i was more astound with the camera movement, the high speed motion and the whole editing, specially during the action scene.
It was a Guy Ritchie style; the bluish grading picture, the split of editing between scenes, the ghetto atmosphere. Things that i recall from his previous movies like Lock Stock and two smoking barrels and snatch.
I'm also intrigue with laughter between Sherlock and Watson, how they juggle with their love and hate relationship.
I'm also giving my standing applause also for Philippe Rousselot; the Director of Photography. as I learned who this guy is, he was the man behind the camera of Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Constantine and Planet of the Apes, etc. So no wonder it was a great collaboration between mr.Ritchie and him.
The music from Hans Zimmer were powerful :)
and oh, when i read the Production designer is Sarah Greenwood, a woman. I was just amazed... Woman in production always amazes me...
She is quite used to the old english style story; such as Atonement & Pride and Prejudice.
I must say, Robert Downey Jr. is a great actor... he really is, i'm confident watching more of sherlock holmes movies with him being the cast.
