Vietnam Trip (day 1 - 2)

After buying the ticket 5 months before,
the day came for us to finally pig out and travel to Vietnam...
with the good deal package from Air Asia,
we got ourselves around Rp.900.000 return ticket per person with route Jakarta - Ho chi minh city.
I have the privilege to travel with my best friend Tania and her husband opiq, also with my lovely Aunt, bu ris.
at first, bu ris's daughter, Prita, was the one who had the initial idea to go to Vietnam, but just 2 months before we left, she got a new cool job in Singapore Airlines. So then she didn't go and leave the ticket high and dry... huhu

we chose to go on the weekend of Chinese New Year, we thought it would be more colorful and more festive... and yes, it truly was...

Day 1 - Jakarta - Ho Chi Minh City
Day 2 - Saigon City Tour
Day 3 - Chu Chi Tunnels tour
Day 4 - Ho Chi Minh - Hanoi > chinese new year
Day 5 - Ha long Bay trip
Day 6 - Hanoi - Ho chi minh
Ho Chi minh city - Jakarta

for the Saigon Tour, Start: 8:30 AM-4:00 PM
Price: 8 USD / person
Including: A/C bus, Tour guide, lunch ($4).
Exclusive: Entrance fee for the, drinks.

the rest of the place are free...

the hotel we're staying, Boss Hotel, is only 5-10mins walking distance to the famous Ben Thanh market..

for transportation,
you want to take Vinsun Taxi for going around, or else you can get ripped off by their Argo... unfortunately, on the last day in Ho chi minh, we took the wrong cab, because i misread it...and cost me 200.000 VND for a short trip around the block...fiuuhhh...

they also have,
Cyclos, same like 'becak' in indonesia... the price depends where you're going, try to bargain the first price they offer...

and "Xe-om", which literally means to"hug the motorbike."
here in Jakarta, we don't hug our Ojek...heihei....
